Well, our new site is almost up and running. We have hired one of the premier funeral home consultants and web marketing experts in our industry to build our new Lone Star Cremation Society and Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home web sites. How many death certificates should I order?

If there is one single question that we are asked more often than any other it is how many death certificates should a family order? The easy answer is at least six. The reason for this is simple, The State of Texas charges $21 for the first copy and $4 for each additional copy. If a family does not order enough copies and has to reorder they will pay $21 again for the first copy. They will also have to go to the County Clerk in Fort Worth or City Hall in Dallas. If you have ever had to go to either of these offices you surly understand why ordering a few extra death certificates when you pay for your Lone Star Cremation just makes sense.
